John & Jacob are thrilled to be on the road with long-time fan Kacey Musgraves on her US tour that started last week in Tulsa, OK. The Birmingham, AL musicians have been working non-stop winning over music fans with a stellar live show and a talent for writing solid pop songs, and will release their anticipated self-titled debut album next Monday October 6.

Rolling Stone raves music fans might be “reminded of radio-friendly, mid-Nineties pop-rock … when an Everly Brothers comparison is just as apt” adding “the band’s jangly, British Invasion-inspired ditty ‘Be My Girl’ could have easily been a killer Dwight Yoakam cut.” CMT adds the band writes “infectious tunes and irrefutable harmonies.”

John & Jacob have been busy this summer. The band impressed concertgoers at this year’s Bonnaroo, Firefly and Hangout Music Festivals, and toured Europe with Kacey where they earned themselves a great supporter in the influential and legendary programmer Bob Harris – known for breaking bands through his work on the BBC and the celebrated Whistle Test TV shows.

The songwriters have also won over fellow musicians, writing a #1 song with The Band Perry and landing a publishing deal with Major Bob Music (home of hit songs for Dierks Bentley, Dixie Chicks and The Plain White T’s).
