Mike Ragogna: What is your advice in general to someone entering the music scene now?
Jett Williams: As a new artist, hopefully what you’re doing… the record company or the industry will do it the way you want it done. If not, you’ve got to get where you’re grounded, and then do exactly what you want to do, the way you want to do it. If you come to Nashville right now — today’s music is visual in that people are looking at music, but not really listening to it. I think that you’ve got to come in and play that game or they’re just going to shut you out the door, which is very unfortunate, but if you can get in and get established, then you can run with everything you’ve got.
