Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz has announced the addition of more dates to his ongoing “YES!” intimate world tour. The new dates – which celebrate the multiple-GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter’s acclaimed new album, “YES!” – get underway March 9^th at Ames, Iowa’s Stephens Auditorium.  For complete details and ticket information, please log on to jasonmraz.com/tour.

In the meantime, the “YES!” world tour continues to roll on, with performances slated at an array of legendary venues around the planet. February will see Mraz – backed by his “YES!” collaborators, Raining Jane – visiting the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, followed by a series of intimate U.S. dates in Florida, South Carolina, and New Jersey. From there, the San Diego-based troubadour travels to Cape Town and Johannesburg for his first-ever shows in South Africa. As if all that weren’t enough, Mraz has also just revealed plans for very special concerts in Thailand and Hong Kong, scheduled for late March through early April.

In 2014, Mraz made a conscious choice to perform in venues smaller than the usual amphi-theatres/arenas with several multi-day residencies, including an all-borough, six-show stint in New York City, and has selected a number of historic theatres and concert halls such as London’s Royal Albert Hall, Paris’ Casino de Paris, Amsterdam’s Royal Theatre Carré, Frankfurt’s Alte Oper, and Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle.

“YES” marks what is perhaps the most unexpected and accomplished collection of the San Diego-based troubadour’s extraordinary career. The album, which debuted at #2 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its release last July, debuted at #1 on the sales charts in 46 territories around the world.  It also garnered some of the finest notices of Mraz’s acclaimed career. “(Mraz’s) fifth LP is his most serenely psyched yet,” applauded Rolling Stone, while The Boston Globe noted, “The sweet-voiced troubadour (sounds) reenergized, with his collaborators (and producer/Bright Eyes member Mike Mogis) rounding out his sound with bits of cello and ukulele… Mraz’s easy charm has, over the course of his decade-plus in the spotlight, aged well.” “‘YES!’ boasts gems to soundtrack a late summer night, a beach bonfire, a long drive or a relaxing night at home,” raved Billboard, ultimately declaring the album as “an invigorating change-up record that shines in an already impressive discography.”

Mraz and Raining Jane heralded “YES!” with high profile TV appearances, including Fox’s American Idol, NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and NBC’s TODAY “Toyota Concert Series,” broadcast live from New York’s Rockefeller Center.  In addition, Mraz’s episode of Inside the Artists Den, shot last June at UCLA’s Royce Hall, proved one of the Emmy-nominated series’ most popular installments.
