JANINA GAVANKAR FEATURING A 50 PERSON DRUM CORPS

Actress and musician, Janina Gavankar, re-imagines Martin Garrix’s EDM single “Don’t Look Down” featuring Usher. By returning to her roots for this video and performance, her vision and arrangement included 50 members Drum and Bugle Corps. While in NYC filming NBC’s “Mysteries of Laura” this past month, she self funded this video and recruited The Jersey Surf, a world- class drum corps to join her for this innovative video. Janina has had a personal obsession with drum corps since the early age of 13 and has a passion for supporting arts education in schools since it helped her achieve her goal as an actress and musician.

Prior to her current role on “Mysteries of Laura,” actress/musician Janina Gavankar is best known for roles as Luna, on “True Blood,” Shiva on “The League,” and those she has played on “The Vampire Diaries,” “The L Word,” “The Gates,” and CW’s “The Arrow,” among others. For more info on Janina and the making of the video visit, http://www.janinagavankar.com/video-credits
