AVAILABLE ON 10″ VINYL + DIGITAL FORMATS VIA YEBO MUSIC

EP RELEASE SHOW 10/1 AT BABY’S ALL RIGHT IN BROOKLYN
AND CMJ 2014 SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

“[Jack + Eliza] manage to hit the sweet spot between the Shins and the Mamas and the Papas. The summery, charming tracks are retro but still feel modern, showcasing the duo’s sparse, intertwining vocals and impressive songwriting prowess.” – Time Magazine “Band To Watch”

“… vocals entwined in a sun-dappled embrace akin to the harmonies of John and Michelle Phillips and Mama Cass…” – Noisey

“An exuberance of youthful energy is captured with little more than bright, clean guitar tones and the occasional tambourine chime.” – Consequence of Sound

“Jack + Eliza make winsome pop, at this point just letting their guitars and voices convey their charms. If you liked the early, stripped-down days of Slow Club with a little Beach Boys/Everly Brothers influence, they’re pretty appealing.” – Brooklyn Vegan

New York City duo Jack + Eliza’s debut EP No Wonders is out today (9/23) in 10″ vinyl and digital formats via Yebo Music. The response to their first release has been equal parts overwhelming and exciting for the pair, as their music has been met with critical acclaim and word of mouth enthusiasm among music fans who have streamed their single “Hold The Line” over 130,000 times on SoundCloud in the past few months. Jack + Eliza will celebrate the release of No Wonders at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn, NY on October 1st, before making their CMJ debut with multiple shows later in the month.

The No Wonders EP was produced by Chris Zane (The Walkmen, Mumford & Sons, Passion Pit) and is suffuse with the effortlessness of youth, captured in ephemeral moments through a melodious and sun-drenched pop sound. Growing up in NYC as childhood friends, and now musical collaborators, Jack + Eliza have a beyond-their-years sensibility that belies their relatively young age. Eliza first showcased this talent publicly when she became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest “Song of The Year” award at just 16 in 2011. When she and Jack began writing together the results were serendipitous, each amplifying the strengths and creativity of the other.
