Hot Tuna, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, tours this June and July bringing eclectic acoustic soul driving music to the USA. Hot Tuna’s music has a certain intrigue, regardless of the note, which stems from a heartfelt, in-the-moment expression. It’s a slice of Americana, part old-time blues, part psychedelic rock and roll. (www.HotTuna.com)

Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady came to prominence in the ‘60’s forming the psycodelic rock band, Jefferson Airplane. Now, these members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have been performing for together for more than four decades. Hot Tuna has played, toured, and recorded some of the best and most memorable acoustic and electric music ever.
As individuals, Jorma and Jack have distinguished themselves with a variety of solo projects, charitable endeavors and collaborations.
Jorma’s just released solo album Ain’t In No Hurry (Red House Records) has been receiving rave reviews. Between touring and his ongoing dedication to the Fur Peace Ranch, the guitar camp he operates with his wife Vanessa, Jorma, a guitar legend, remains a true force in American music. (Jorma.com)
From his first solo album, “Dream Factor” (Eagle Records), to his development of the Jack Casady Signature Epiphone Bass, one of the most widely sought basses in the world, Jack’s melodic attack on the bass and extraordinary musical sensibility drives it all. (Casady.com)
With Kaukonen’s inventive finger-picking guitar work and Casady’s full-driving bass lines, Hot Tuna delivers soulful music bursting with creative energy. Rolling Stone recently declared, “Hot Tuna is a Psychedelic-Blues Institution.”
