H&M Presents Kilo Kish’s “IOU”

H&M REVEALS FAN-SOURCED MUSIC VIDEO

FOR TOKIMONSTA’S REMIX OF KILO KISH’S “IOU”

New York, NY – (May 27, 2014) H&M, Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), toured the country this spring to create fashion’s first fan-sourced music video featuring the world’s longest runway show, in collaboration with vocalist and style muse Kilo Kish and music producer TOKiMONSTA.

Originating in Indio, CA at Coachella and traveling onto colleges across the U.S., making stops at UCLA, University of Texas – Austin, and concluding with Penn State, thousands of fashion-savvy music fans were given the opportunity to walk to the beat, coast to coast. Participants showcased their unique style personalities in this year’s H&M Loves Music collection, strutting down a one-of-a-kind virtual runway, all while listening to some of today’s hottest local DJs.

Directed by the renowned Nathaniel Brown, who has worked with Kanye West, Drake, Jay Z, and Beyonce, captured a video that was compiled to create a music video boasting the world’s longest runway show for TOKiMONSTA’s “Runway Remix” of Kilo Kish’s “IOU”. The video stars H&M enthusiasts styled in their favorite pieces from the collection alongside Kilo Kish, one of the faces of this year’s H&M Loves Music campaign, herself.

“Working with H&M on the ‘IOU’ remix music video has been awesome. I loved how anyone could come be a part of it at Coachella and on the college tour”, says Kilo Kish.

“H&M is a massive outlet for style and creativity. They provide the tools for each person to create their own style personality,” says TOKiMONSTA. She continues, “I’ve been keeping up with Kilo since she first started dropping music. She is a really refreshing artist and it’s cool to see that a brand as big as H&M recognizes that too.”

This year’s H&M Loves Music campaign includes two full collections of festival inspired separates. H&M believes in the strong tie between music, fashion, and self-expression which is how the collections came to be. The H&M Loves Music collections are available in 2,000 stores globally as well as online at hm.com.
