April 1st, 2014, New York, NY – Founders Entertainment are excited to announce the sale of single day tickets in conjunction with the unveiling of the by day lineup for the 2014 Governors Ball Music Festival (by day lineup below). Single day GA and VIP tickets will be available starting at 12 Noon EST on April 4th. A limited single day ticket pre-sale via Citi will begin 10 am EST on April 2nd. Three day GA and VIP tickets are still available for purchase while supplies last via GovBall.com.

Held Friday, June 6th through Sunday, June 8th in Randall’s Island Park, the 4th annual edition of New York City’s premier music event will showcase a wide spectrum of Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Americana, Electronica, Pop and Dance all weekend long. Among many great performances to take place over the course of the weekend, Governors Ball will feature legendary Hip Hop duo Outkast’s only show in the NYC market, the worldwide debut of Axwell ^ Ingrosso from the renowned Swedish House Mafia, as well as The Strokes first live performance (and only show currently scheduled) since 2011. In a nod to the vibrant music scene in the beautiful city Governors Ball gratefully calls home, this year’s lineup also includes a large contingent of established and up and coming local NYC artists, including among others, Interpol, TV On The Radio, Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells, Lucius, Haerts, Skaters, and Bleachers among others.
Founders Entertainment is also thrilled to announce Answer the Call as the official charity partner of Governors Ball 2014. The New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund is a non-profit organization that assists the families of New York City first responders killed in the line of duty. When these heroic men and women make the ultimate sacrifice and are killed in the line of duty, the Benefit Fund steps in to provide financial assistance, a network of support, and special gatherings for the families they left behind. Today, the Benefit Fund serves over 600 families of fallen New York City Firefighters, Police Officers, Port Authority Police, and EMS workers. Founders Entertainment is once again honored to invite attendees to Governors Ball’s festival grounds at Randall’s Island Park. In addition to being accessible by bus, foot, bike, car, and cab, the festival will again offer ferry service from Mid-Town Manhattan to and from the festival grounds. With each subsequent year of the festival, Founders Entertainment has utilized experience and feedback from previous years to ensure transportation to and from Governors Ball is as smooth and easy as possible.
