ANNOUNCES SELECT DATES AND UNIQUE SET OF SYMPHONY SHOWS BEGNNING JULY 12, 2014

NEW YORK, NY (April 24, 2014) – Singer/songwriter John Ondrasik, also known as Five for Fighting, the band name under which he records and performs will play select dates this summer including a rare and unique set of symphony shows across the United States beginning July 12, 2014 at Mondavi Winery in Oakville, CA.  Five for Fighting will play songs from the most recent Wind-up Records album,Bookmarks, which was released on September 17, 2013 as well as a selection of his most beloved songs.

Of the experience, John Ondrasik said, “There is nothing better than performing my catalogue with a 30-piece orchestra. All the arrangements heard on the records are realized. Fun stuff!”

Bookmarks, produced by Gregg Wattenberg (Phillip Phillips, Train) & Derek Fuhrmann (Phillip Phillips, O.A.R.), carries on with the musical tradition Ondrasik has created over the past decade writing deeply personal songs that invoke the human spirit, including his latest hit “What If” and a catalog of classic songs such as “Superman” (It’s Not Easy),  “100 Years,” and “Chances.”
