Fear Of Men’s “Sleeper” From Loom Appears

EUROPEAN HEADLINING TOUR STARTING NEXT WEEK

“Sleeper” (Ty Segall cover) is the digital b-side to “Tephra,” the latest single from Fear of Men’s debut album Loom.

Fear of Men says: “We initially thought about doing this cover after seeing Ty Segall’s set when we played with him at FYF Festival in LA last summer. We recorded it in Leeds with MJ from Hookworms in about 5 hours on a day off from a tour, before he himself had to dash off to play a show.”

2014 has been a busy year for the Brighton based band. April saw the release of their debut album, which Q Magazine’s 4 star review stated is “A graceful exhibition of light melody over dark mood” and The Sunday Times said, “The more people who discover Jessica Weiss’s haunting songs and Fear of Men’s classic indie sound the better.” In order to make that happen, from April through June, Fear of Men traversed several continents in support of the release and in support of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. With one national US tour and a European tour covering seven countries now under their belt, Fear of Men is ready to return this fall as a headlining act. All dates below.

“Loom” is out now via Kanine Records and available as CD, LP, digital with limited edition cassette in the works for Cassette Store Day. Fear of Men has released videos for “Luna” and “Descent”. Fear of Men is creating a video for “Tephra” and has started writing their next record.

“Tephra” the digital single is out Sep 22 (UK) / Sep 23 (US) via all digital outlets.
