Fall Out Boy Meets “Uma Thurman”
FALL OUT BOY RELEASE “UMA THURMAN” MUSIC VIDEO
Music video features special appearances by Big Sean, Brendon Urie, Action Bronson, Big Data and MAX
GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum selling band Fall Out Boy’s music video for their new single “Uma Thurman” is available now on VEVO, providing a glimpse into exactly what being the band’s assistant for the day is like. The video showcases contest-winner Sarah’s 24-hour immersion into FOB-world, which included a wicked game of paintball with Pete, karaoke rehearsals with Patrick, taking Joe’s zebra for a trot, and breaking a sweat doing CrossFit with Andy. The kicker has Sarah carrying out one final mission with an important message from the band to the Alabama Supreme Court and all those who would stand in the way of equal rights. “Uma” also features special appearances from Big Sean, Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, Action Bronson, Big Data and DCD2 artist, MAX.
The song will make its television debut when Fall Out Boy performs the track at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, which air live on May 17 from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. “Uma Thurman” is the band’s latest single from their album American Beauty/American Psycho, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its January 20, 2015 release on Island Records & DCD2 Records. The album also features the triple-platinum single “Centuries.”
The band is currently on a global tour in support of the album and will embark across North America on the Boys of Zummer tour with Wiz Khalifa beginning June 10 in Camden, NJ and travel through more than 35 cities before concluding at the famed Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on August 10. Tickets are available now at www.livenation.com and www.falloutboy.com.
