Estelle Conquers 15th Annual New Yorkers for Children Gala with Powerful Performance
Estelle delivered a rousing musical set on at the 15th Annual New Yorkers for Children Gala on helping to raise more than $1.35 million at Cipriani 42nd Street, which included a powerful performance of her single “Conqueror”. The black-tie evening, benefiting youth in foster care in New York City on Tuesday evening, was emceed by Good Day New York’s Greg Kelly and sponsored by Chloé and David Yurman. Estelle, wearing Oscar de la Renta on the carpet and David Yurman later in the night,had everyone up and out of their seats to dance during dinner as she performed for the star-studded crowd which included Selita Ebanks, Jemima Kirke, Victor Cruz, Rachel Roy, Mario Manningham, Elettra Wiedemann, Harvey Weinstein and many more.The Boys and Girls Choir of Harlem Alumni Ensemble joined Estelle on stage.
Estelle’s forthcoming album True Romance, out November 4th via Established 1980 Inc/BMG, is now available for pre-order on iTunes . The album is anchored by 4 themes – passion, courage, true romance and the bullshit. Lead single “Conqueror” will be featured in the end credits of the film Addicted, in theaters October 10th.
