Mike Ragogna: What is your advice for new artists?

Nathan Blumefeld-James: It’s kind of a Wild, Wild West out there in the music industry right now, and no one really knows what the formula or the new model is going to be. I think, as an artist, the most important thing is to just do stuff you believe in. You really have to believe in it. However, that takes shape that’s the most important thing. No one is going to believe in something more than you. Perseverance is 75% of it for me; continuing to fight, and a lot of it is uphill and it’s hard.
