The Eagles’ History of the Eagles tour, which launched in July 2013 and sold out arenas in the U.S., Canada and Europe, has grossed more than $145,000,000. Performing for over 1,100,000 fans during the past 12 months, the band’s tour follows the release last year of their critically acclaimed documentary of the same name and features classics spanning their career, including some that have never been performed live prior to this tour.
Eagles Manager, Irving Azoff, commented, “More than a million worldwide fans attending Eagles concerts the past twelve months is a testament to the bands ongoing legacy, stature and songs, that not only stand the test time, but have become anthems for several generations. The band is releasing this touring data information so that those who follow the concert industry have accurate year over year perspective and not arbitrarily bifurcate the highly attended summer concert season as some charts do.”
The History of the Eagles 2014 European tour wraps up July 2nd in Lucca, Italy and continues with a series of U.S. dates beginning Monday, August 25 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The late summer/fall leg includes a fourth and fifth concert at Madison Square Garden; another L.A.-area date on Friday, October 3 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and Saturday, October 4 at Viejas Arena in San Diego, California; and wraps up in Las Vegas on October 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The 2015 leg of the tour kicks off in February for concerts across Australia and New Zealand.
Launched July 6, 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky, the Eagles have performed a total of 87 History of the Eagles concerts, including three sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York; six sold-out nights for the reopening of the Forum in Inglewood, California; three sell-outs at the 02 Arena in Dublin, Ireland; and four sold-out concerts at London’s 02.
In July 2013 alone, the History of the Eagles tour broke several box office records, including:

Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best-selling album of all time, exceeding sales of 29 million units.
