Mike Ragogna: David, what advice would you have for new artists at this point?
David Berkeley: Go and do it. (laughs) I think that you have to really believe in what you’re doing and try to be true to what it is that inspires you to want to make music. And just do the best you can to follow that voice and not any other voice. That doesn’t get any easier as you do it for a long time, but it’s, I think, the only way you can keep your integrity and make art that’s valuable and keep your sanity.
