Main Stage Will Feature Dave Matthews Band Playing Two Headline Sets Nightly And Brandi Carlile Performing Each Day

Shovels & Rope, Ana Tijoux, JD McPherson, Bombino, Dumpstaphunk, Moon Taxi, David Ryan Harris and Betsy Olson Will Play The Caravan Stage, Shovels & Rope, Ana Tijoux, JD McPherson, Bombino, Dumpstaphunk, Moon Taxi, David Ryan Harris and Betsy Olson will perform on the Caravan stage when Dave Matthews Band Caravan comes to the idyllic Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA August 29-31.

Dave Matthews Band will play two headline sets – one acoustic and one electric – on the Main Stage each night. Brandi Carlile will perform with her full band on the Main Stage each day in her only hometown appearances of the summer. The daily artist lineup will be announced shortly.

The Labor Day weekend shows at The Gorge, with its sweeping views of the Columbia River and the Columbia Gorge canyon, are always a highlight of Dave Matthews Band’s annual summer tour.The group has headlined 46 shows at the venue since 1997.

In a recent review, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution observed, “the stage is where DMB built its empire and where the band remains master of its domain. This summer, the Virginia septet is shaking the tree a bit with a two-set show that initially spotlights acoustic renditions of their songs and a longer, electric set filled with riff-tastic guitar solos…DMB deserves kudos for always bringing their A-game to the stage.” In a review of the Michigan show, The Oakland Press said, “Dave Matthews Band is twice as nice at DTE,” noting that the acoustic/electric combination “meant 25 songs and three hours of music – and rapture for the near-capacity crowd.”
