The album pays tribute to the great horn sections that fueled hits by such artists as James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Tower Of Power and Blood, Sweat & Tears. Lead single “Got To Get You Into My Life” spent seven weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz chart and “I Got You (I Feel Good)” topped the Mediabase Smooth A/C chart for seven weeks. Concord Records is taking their smoking version of Sly and the Family Stone’s “Hot Fun in the Summertime” to radio now as the quartet prepares for its North American summer tour.

Beginning with a sail away cocktail party with all the performers, travelers will continually find themselves mingling with the artists while on board, both informally and at scheduled autograph sessions. The entertainment will range from sophisticated productions in the Aurora Theatre that are glitzy enough to rival those on Broadway and in Las Vegas to surprise unplugged performances and late night comedy. Cabins for the seven-night cruise, which runs from September 5-12, can be reserved now athttp://www.davekozcruise.com/#. Aboard Royal Caribbean Radiance Of The Seas, travelers will set sail from picturesque Vancouver, British Columbia, experience the idyllic ports of Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway and sail through the breathtaking Tracy Arm Fjord. All meals, shows and onboard events produced by the Dave Koz Cruise are included. Shore excursions, available for an additional fee, include whale watching, seaplanes, scenic bike tours, helicopters, train rides, sport fishing and zip lines. This videooffers a glimpse of what’s in store on the upcoming cruise.

The cruise follows Dave’s sold-out 2013 excursion to the Mediterranean, which was his most successful cruise yet and received rave reviews from passengers. ClickHERE to see passenger comments.

Koz is keeping busy in the months leading up to the Alaska cruise. In addition to touring the U.S. with The Summer Horns, he just launched his new weekly two-hour satellite radio show “The Dave Koz Lounge on Sirius/XM” and will tour the U.K. with Barry Manilow in May. He is also joining forces with Cary Hardwick and Laurie Sisneros, partners and owners of Spaghettiniin Seal Beach, CA to open a new Beverly Hills restaurant, Spaghettini & the Dave Koz Lounge <http://www.spaghettinibh.com>, this summer.
