The video for “I Don’t Want to Change You,” the lead single off Damien Rice’s long awaited new album My Favourite Faded Fantasy, is premiering at Huffington Post (http://huff.to/1stTkbi). The video was directed by Icelandic filmmaking duo Arni & Kinski and shot in Iceland, where much of the album was recorded. The song also recently debuted on BBC Radio 1 “Zane Lowe” and NPR Music “All Songs Considered” (http://n.pr/1qqJjaq).
My Favourite Faded Fantasy (out November 10 in the U.S.) is Rice’s first collection of material in eight years and was produced by Rick Rubin and Rice. Rice previewed the new music by releasing the album’s title track (listen here: http://bit.ly/1shU18x), which reached #3 globally on Associated Press’ “Spotify’s Top 10 Most Viral Tracks.”
