DAMIEN RICE TO EMBARK ON WORLDWIDE TOUR / SUMMMER DATES ADDED
MY FAVOURITE FADED FANTASY RELEASED TO WIDESPREAD CRITICAL ACCLAIM; PRODUCED BY RICK RUBIN AND DAMIEN RICE Damien Rice has added further European and U.S. dates to his extensive worldwide tour. Kicking off March 31 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Rice will make stops at the Beacon Theater in New York City, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, with summer stops at Primavera Festival in Barcelona, Celebrate Brooklyn’s Prospect Park Bandshell, a co-headlining date at Chicago’s Prirzker Pavilion with Iron & Wine and at Belgium’s Rock Werchter Festival. Of his live set, Billboard hails, “Spellbinding, captivating, riveting, mesmerizing, dazzling—there aren’t enough words in the thesaurus to convey the bravura and depth it takes to hold an entire room in 2014 for two hours with no production, no visuals, no frills, just songs and stories.” A limited number of advance tickets will be available to mailing list subscribers via www.damienrice.com. For the U.S. dates, a 48-hour fan pre-sale window will begin on Tuesday, February 24 at 10 a.m. local time and general on-sale will begin Friday, February 27 at 10 a.m. local time.
