6131 Records is excited to announce that they will release I’ll Be the Tornado, the sophomore full-length from Dads in October 2014. Recorded by Neil Strauch (Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Iron & Wine, Owen) at MinBal Studio in Chicago, IL and mastered by Carl Saff (Dinosaur Jr., Guided By Voices, Speedy Ortiz), I’ll Be the Tornado is the follow-up to the duo’s acclaimed 2013 Pretty Good EP.

Dads and 6131 Records have teamed up to share a new track, “But” off the upcoming album. It is now available for streaming and free download via Bandcamp. Dads are currently touring North America with Touché Amoré and Tigers Jaw, and have plans to appear at Riot Fest Chicago, Riot Fest Denver and The Fest 13 this fall (all tour dates below).
