Cuevo’s Pajaros en la Bruma Coming
CUEVO RELEASES HIS NEW ALBUM
“PÁJAROS EN LA BRUMA”
RELEASE PARTY OF PÁJAROS EN LA BRUMA IS SET FOR
WEDNESDAY, JULY 2nd AT LA CITA BAR
Mexican rocker Cuevo Perez, known simply as “Cuevo,” returns to the Latin Alternative scene with the release his new album, “Pajaros en la Bruma”. The album is a follow-up to his critically-acclaimed debut solo EP, “Hasta Que El Sol Se Vaya,” which made various critics’ lists as one of the best releases of 2011. “Pajaros en la Bruma” takes off where the previous EP left off by showcasing Cuevo’s ability to seamlessly combine deep, powerful lyrics with pure rock n’ roll melodies, equally filled with love and longing, light and darkness with a splash of rockabilly rhythm. The first single, “Carrusel” oozes with bluesy riffs, The Doors-inspired organs and topped off with colorful insights into the trial and tribulations of a road-travelling, nomadic rock n roll artist trying to find his place in the world. Mixed by multiple Latin Grammy nominee Sacha Triujeque (Gustavo Cerati, Ely Guerra) and two times Grammy winner Alfonso Rodenas (Los Tigres del Norte), and mastered by Tom Baker (Bajofondo, Nine Inch Nails), “Pajaros en la Bruma” is set to take over 2014 with a vengeance. Stay tuned…
Be sure to join us at La Cita bar in Downtown LA for a special album release party on Wednesday July 2 to see what the buzz is all about. Please send your request for copies of album, interviews and review tickets to Julio Trejo at the 3 Collective. Information below.
