Cowbell Presents “Tallulah” Video And Beat Stampede Album

UK Rock & Soul Duo Cowbell Premiere Scorching New Video “Tallulah” Via American Songwriter

Filmed In A Desert, Under Circling Vultures, In

Andalusia, Spain

Debut Album Beat Stampede Out July 1

“It was the wrong weather for rock and roll clothes,” Cowbell’s Jack Sandham tells American Songwriter about filming “Tallulah,” the new video from the duo’s forthcoming debut album Beat Stampede. “Our only consolation was that I got to wear a hat and Wednesday got to wear shades.”

Wednesday Lyle—the other half of Cowbell—and Sandham, along with director David Higgs, made the video to herald the July 1 U.S. release of Beat Stampede and placed the pair in unfamiliar territory. “Strangely, it was easier miming to the song at the top of a mountain or on a desert plain than in a studio,” Sandham continues. “Carrying the drums and amp up to the top of the mountain was not a highlight but was worth it to see vultures circling above us as we played.” Read more about the making of the video and see it in its entirety here: http://bit.ly/1yf0seT

Comprising ten original songs of scorching soul and garage rock, Cowbell’s Beat Stampede combines a lyrical charm with a full-bodied, powerful sound that belies their stripped-down set-up. Taking cues from both sides of the Atlantic the album traverses Cowbell’s love for classic U.S labels such as Stax, Motown and Sun as well as legendary British R & B bands such as The Small Faces, The Kinks and The Zombies.

Beat Stampede is available July 1. Fans can preorder on iTunes now and receive “Tallulah” immediately –http://georiot.co/9C0

U.S. tour dates to be announced soon.
