Cole Phoenix Launches Scorching New Pop Single from Forthcoming Album

Australia’s hottest music sensation is ringing in the New Year with a brand new pop single accompanied by a sizzling music video. With its catchy lyrics and upbeat electro-inspired sound, ‘Hello’ is set to be one of 2015’s most downloaded tracks. Scheduled to go live on New Year’s Day, the worldwide release represents new beginnings and will fuel the Cole Phoenix fire, set to blaze in 2015.

“I’ve put my heart and soul into finishing this track and I really hope that this resonates with my listeners. The sound is lively and upbeat however the lyrics explore one of the heart’s most fracturing experiences – falling head over heels in love only to find that the giddy highs soon turn into painful regrets. That love isn’t necessarily experienced for someone, it can also be a love for something that is ultimately a trap you need to get beyond,” says Phoenix.

The music video is filmed on location in London, an iconic city that makes the perfect backdrop for Phoenix’s modern and energetic sound. Donning a sexy vintage dress Phoenix strolls light adorned London streets in freezing temperatures. The crystal clear picture and complex filmography techniques make it difficult to fathom that the video was filmed entirely on an iPhone 6 Plus. Phoenix and her team ‘Noble NoBull’ snapped up the chance during a whirlwind UK sojourn to attend the World Premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.’

Director/Producer Nicolas Jacobi said, “When scouting for a music video location we really wanted to find somewhere that captured the dynamism of the track. When we were invited to attend the world premiere of ‘The Hobbit’ Phoenix quickly realised that London was the ideal location.” Phoenix continues “The after dark setting, wintery atmosphere and dramatic aesthetics make the clip all the more electrifying.”

Originating from Queensland, Phoenix is an accomplished actress, singer/songwriter, novelist, scriptwriter and director. She unveiled her debut album ‘Wild Love’ in 2010 and has since gone on to release a self-titled album in 2012 as well as hit single ‘UFO.’ ‘Hello’ is her latest track and offers fans a sneak peak at her upcoming album, ‘She’s on Fire.’ While her sound is entirely fresh Phoenix’s latest album retains her trademark universal appeal. Her music slots into a number of different genres which has won her fans of all ages and tastes.
