Cold War Kids are on tour now, playing festivals such as Chive Music Festival (Denver, CO) on August 16th and Sunset Strip Music Festival on September 20th (Los Angeles, CA). They will kick off their headline tour playing intimate venues such as 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on October 24th, Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA on October 25th and Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA on November 19. Complete tour itinerary can be found below, with additional dates to be announced.
Cold War Kids is Nathan Willett, Matt Maust, Dann Gallucci, Joe Plummer and Matthew Schwartz. Formed in 2004, the band’s breakthrough debut Robbers & Cowards was released to considerable acclaim in 2006. The darker Loyalty To Loyalty followed two years later, while 2011’s Mine Is Yours introduced deeper anthemic qualities to the eclectic group’s catalog. 2013’s Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, featuring the hit single “Miracle Mile,” was a return to their raw live sound. The band’s fifth album, led by the explosive single “All This Could Be Yours,” will be out this October via Downtown Records.
