Last night, Cody Simpson premiered the official video for his latest single Surfboard on CBS’ The Insider and on his official YouTube page,here. The brand new video shows a new side of the Aussie pop star that Idolator dubbed a “leap from the guitar strumming boy-next-door to provocative ladies’ man.” The clip also features Sports-Illustrated “Rookie of the Year,” Gigi Hadid.

Cody and his dance partner, Witney Carson, were eliminated on last night’s Disney themed episode of Dancing With The Stars. Cody and Witney performed a fun, high energy samba to “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” from The Lion King despite being one of the couples who was in danger of going home. Cody’s 5 weeks on Dancing With The Stars showed the teen star performing a cha-cha, samba, tango, foxtrot, and a jazz performance to his own song “Surfboard.” Of the experience Cody told Good Morning America, “This whole thing has been such an amazing experience to me” and that he went into and is leaving the experience with a positive attitude.
