Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin Meets Dawn Of The Dead

CLAUDIO SIMONETTI’S GOBLIN
STARTING THEIR FIRST-EVER
DAWN OF THE DEAD TOUR
PERFORMING ALONGSIDE HORROR CLASSIC
DAWN OF THE DEAD
Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin – the Italian progressive rock band known for their film soundtrack compositions – are embarking on their first-ever Dawn of the Dead Tour, on which they’ll perform their seminal soundtrack to the classic George A. Romero film Dawn of the Dead. The band will perform alongside the film itself, allowing fans an entirely unique, immersive experience. The tour starts in Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade on July 12, and will conclude in Los Angeles at the Roxy Theatre on July 25. Full tour dates are listed below.
Claudio Simonetti founded Goblin in 1975, and the group has produced full-length records and soundtracks in varying incarnations ever since. Aside from Simonetti’s work with Goblin on theDario Argento films Profondo RossoSuspiria, and Tenebre, Simonetti composed the soundtracks to Opera/Terror at the Opera, Phenomena/Creepers and more on his own. Goblin’s soundtrack to Dawn of the Dead (titled Zombi), originally written to the European version, is arguably their most well-known release, and it makes for a very fitting live introduction to US audiences.
