“Shoulda Coulda Woulda” was written by Christine Storm and longtime collaborator and music veteran Frank Greenfield. A Grammy-nominated, award winning writer, producer and performer, Greenfield has collaborated with some of music’s brightest luminaries including Timbaland (whose mega-hit album Shock Value earned Greenfield 6-time Platinum standing) and a who’s who of Pop/R&B Artists such as Beyonce, Rhianna, Usher and Kelly Rowland as well as rising stars Mindless Behavior, among others. His credits also include compositions for Golden Globe-winning film and TV productions.

Last winter the pair settled in to the studio in Reno to write and began talking relationships. Storm shared that the song was inspired by her own past relationships and the scenarios she feels so many people experience on the way to finding the “right one.” The song is about the moment a misguided relationship ends, and the regrets that come with that.

“People want to stay in that happy place, put their heads in the sand… and that’s what the song is about. Being in denial, staying in a relationship that’s not very good. There’s a line, ‘Take me to that place where I forget your lies,’ and that very much embodies that struggle, wishing we could go back in time, knowing that we can’t. Needing to move on.”

The song was recorded at Abbey West Studios in Reno with Jerry Spikula, where they have recorded most of the material for Storm’s upcoming album.

Christine Storm has been called “the ultimate entertainer” and has spent the last decade performing live on stages both in the US and Europe, singing, dancing and producing across her multiple projects which include her own original music, her previous band Mansion (featuring Spikula) and multiple international cabaret tours.  Currently working on her upcoming full-length album, she is also deeply involved in her second passion, fashion, and is currently launching a sportswear line that brings her own edgy, sexy style to an often overly-conservative country club aesthetic.
