Musician and Singer Chris Carpenter to Play Live Musician and singer Chris Carpenter, whose songs have been featured on everything from soap operas to prime time to commercials, will play live on Wednesday, January 28th at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld®. Guests and locals alike are invited to come enjoy the complimentary performance where there will also be drink specials geared toward the event. Chris Carpenter — who is performing at the Sundance Film Festival later this week — grew up in Winchester, KY and now lives and makes music in Nashville, TN. With influences ranging from The Beatles, The Eagles, and Sting to John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and even Bruno Mars, it’s not hard to see why his four studio albums are packed with catchy and heartfelt pop songs. Several of these songs have been featured on TV shows such as “Men of a Certain Age,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Hallo Hollywood,” “Hollywood Heights” and a Kraft Foods commercial. Chris has also generated buzz by releasing music video singles. Three of them are currently featured on Vh1.com, MTVhive.com, CMT.com and GACTV.com. Most notably his video for “One and Only” was the most viewed video upon its release during The Freshmen competition on MTVU.com. His newest CD is “Every Day Dream” and the single from that album is “My Complication” which can be seen here.
