Buddy’s “Fault Lines” Revealed

Buddy will be touring later this month in support of Last Call For The Quiet Life. Wondering Sound has premiered the video for “Fault Lines”, from Buddy’s new album. The video features original 35mm images from Chicago’s booming nightclub scene in the early 60’s, “Fault Lines director Bait & Tackle re-birthed the footage and recut everything. Additional newsreel footage was incorporated, plus some odds and ends, and then mixed back in to the tweaked versions of both “Twist Craze” and “Dance Craze.” The images, the movement, and the personalities were then allowed to morph into a new, updated storyline. A storyline with it’s foundation rooted in lush lyrical content and reminiscent 60’s dance vibe of Buddy’s ‘Fault Lines.'”

Tijuana Panthers Open “Monkey Jar” Video

After releasing their third album, Wayne Interest, via Innovative Leisure in June and heading out on a European tour and a West Coast run with Fucked UP, Tijuana Panthers are back today to share new November tour dates supporting Mariachi El Bronx. The band is also excited to announce that they will be playing Beach Goth Festival on 10/25 in Santa Ana. To coincide with the new tour announcement, the band is sharing their video for album standout, “Money Jar.” The video was shot and directed by the band’s Phil Shaheen.

The Belle Brigade To Tour Behind Just Because

The Belle Brigade is a Los Angeles-based duo that combines “catchy folk-rock hooks, passionate vocal harmonies and clever wordplay” (KCRW). The band, consisting of siblings Barbara and Ethan Gruska will kick off a national fall tour in support of their newest album Just Because (via ATO Records), touring with The Head and the Heart, Jenny Lewis and Ray LaMontagne. Not only will the band be the main support for the dates with Ray LaMontagne, but the two also play in the band. The Belle Brigade release the beautifully simple and intimate video for “Back Where You Began”.
