Rival Sons’ “Electric Man” Arrives At EW

Long Beach, California’s own Rival Sons deliver another unique visual for the world premiere of their new “Electric Man” music video. PRESS HERE to watch exclusively on EW.com. The video was directed by Markus Rutledge and the concept stemmed from, “We were recently asked to be an experiment in a laboratory study,” said bassist Dave Beste. “The people behind the study evidently wanted to measure our rock-n-roll power, and so we played ‘Electric Man’ and in the process we broke all their equipment. Somebody taped it and we made a special video out of it. So watch it, and enjoy it. We love science.” The blues-rock infused track is from the band’s current LP, Great Western Valkyrie (out now on Earache Records).

Now Ensemble Releases Dreamfall’s “City Boy”

New Amsterdam Records is proud to share “City Boy,” the Judd Greenstein-composed track from New York City new music mainstays NOW Ensemble’s upcoming full-length Dreamfall. The track premiered via Tiny Mix Tapes, who called it “one of Dreamfall’s more lucid pieces: a wordless ramble of a child, still free of worry and judgement, free and blind, stumbling through a market of colors and shoes and great clutter.” Dreamfall will see a release on May 26, 2015.

Monsters Of Rock Cruise Raises Thousands for Dio Charity

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, the charity founded in memory of the late rock singer, was one of the designated charities of last week’s Monsters of Rock Caribbean Cruise on the MSC Divina from Miami to Nassau in the Bahamas. The five-day trip included daily activities to raise money for the Dio Cancer Fund’s important work in cancer research and prevention.
