Pettyfest Celebrates Tom Petty For Charity

On the heels of November’s three hugely successful SOLD OUT Dylan Fests in New York and San Francisco, The Best Fest Sponsored by Jameson Irish Whiskey, is proud to announce Petty Fest 2014, the annual tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. This April Petty Fest will hit Los Angeles at The El Rey Theatre on April 3, Seattle at The Showbox April 9 and Chicago at The Metro April 23. The star-studded events, backed all night by the legendary Cabin Down Below Band, bring together the top musicians, actors, and comedians working today. All involved will be performing their favorite Petty classics. As is tradition at the Fests, these shows are sure to offer a handful of very special surprise guest stars. Once again, 100% of the ticket sale proceeds will go to benefit Sweet Relief and the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.

Neil Young Second Vinyl Box Set Delayed

March 19, 2014 – (Burbank, CA.) — Neil Young and Warner Bros. Records have announced that they must delay the release of Young’s upcoming Neil Young Official Series 2 Vinyl Box Set, which was intended to come out on Record Store Day, due to several other projects that Young has in the works that he wishes to focus on. A November release date for the set, which includes the classic albums Time Fades Away, On The Beach, Tonight’s The Night and Zuma, will be announced soon. Rest assured, it will be worth the wait!

Robert Francis & The Night Tide Introduce Heaven June 3rd

Robert Francis returns with his stunning fourth album Heaven, set for release on June 3rd on Aeronaut Records. Recorded with his new backing band The Night Tide, the album’s 13 songs were produced by Robert, mixed by Mark Rains (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Jeff Buckley, Nirvana). The first single and video will be “Love Is A Chemical”, expected to launch in April.
