Joe Satriani Works With UN

World renowned guitarist, JOE SATRIANI and UN Musical Director ROBIN DIMAGGIO, have teamed up to compose and produce a new song entitled, “Music Without Words” to be unveiled at the June 30th Annual Presidential General Assembly of the UN 69th Session Gala in New York City. The Assembly and Gala feature world dignitaries as well as the Heads of States from nations across the globe. Accompanying the song will be a video, compiled by the UN, featuring footage of people the world over.

Melissa Manchester’s “Big Light” Coming

“Big Light,” the new single from GRAMMY winner Melissa Manchester, goes to radio the week of June 15. The track, which is from her latest album, You Gotta Love the Life, features the legendary vocalist Al Jarreau. “Big Light” marks Manchester and Jarreau’s first recording together since “The Music of Goodbye,” their duet for the 1985 Academy Award-winning film Out of Africa, although the longtime friends have since toured together.

The Walking Guys Begin Walk

The Walking Guys (Benjamin Butler, Christopher Kessenich, Will Stevens, and Riley Moore) are set to begin their one-of-a-kind music/adventure tour in Portland, ME on July 8, 2015, with performances that combine original music and stories of their 1600-mile walk. Kacey Musgraves’ Pageant Material Coming

Mercury Nashville’s Kacey Musgraves will debut new music from her sophomore album, Pageant Material, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (June 9) and Late Night with Seth Meyers (June 10). Musgraves will perform her current single “Biscuits,” on The Tonight Show and “Family Is Family” on Late Night.
