Calling Mark Knopfler/Steve Earle vet Richard Bennett, who brought several of his vintage guitars, the pair recorded several songs in an afternoon – and picked the best three for Trouble In Mind, a limited edition 12″ vinyl.

The new music will debut exclusively inside the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V on April 14with a full standalone album to follow on April 21. The first single to be released off the album is titled “Play it Cool” by Gangrene (The Alchemist and Oh No) featuring Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands) and Earl Sweatshirt.

Performing select songs from his Yep Roc Records debut, Back To Birth, out August 25, the 12-city run culminates with two performances at SXSW in Austin, TX, and a six-night residency at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA. Full list of dates attached. The tour will continue throughout 2015, with additional dates to be announced.
