Grammy Creators Alliance Create Think Tank

As part of the recently launched GRAMMY® Creators Alliance, The Recording Academy® has formed a Managers Think Tank to advise on issues impacting the music creator community. Established in direct response to bipartisan congressional requests for the music community to get involved with policy matters and speak with a unified voice, The GRAMMY Creators Alliance will utilize the Managers Think Tank to review legislative proposals, identify new issues, and advise policymakers on crafting long-term solutions to create a sustainable music marketplace. Comprised of 30 of the nation’s leading representatives of music talent.

John Legend Joins Sam Smith On “Lay Me Down”

U.K. artist Sam Smith and American-born John Legend have teamed up to support the charity Comic Relief with a brand new recording of Smith’s song “Lay Me Down.” Comic Relief works to change the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the U.K. and Africa. Founded in 1985, the organization has raised more than 950 million pounds to date.”Lay Me Down” – designated as the official Red Nose Day single by Comic Relief – is available now at all digital retailers.
