Calexico Brings Edge Of The Sun

Rejoice! God Loves Wild Yaks Debuts

Ernest Jenning Record Co. is excited to announce Rejoice! God Loves Wild Yaks, the newest full-length from Brooklyn indie stalwarts Wild Yaks. Rejoice! will see a release on June 2, 2015. To ring in the release, the band has released a new track, titled “Paradise.” The track premiered via Stereogum, who noted that “Wild Yaks’ raucous energy and singalong-inducing lyrics are part of what make them one of Brooklyn’s most beloved indie rock acts.”

Civil Twilight’s “Holy Dove” Arrives

Civil Twilight is sharing their new single “Holy Dove,” and a new live acoustic video for the title track from their forthcoming studio album Story Of An Immigrant, out June 2 on Wind-up Records. In addition to the new single, Billboard also exclusively reveals new album art created by brothers Steven and Andrew McKeller. Diffuser.FM says “seeing and hearing them in such a stripped-down setting only highlights their immense talents even more.” In conjunction with the new track, album art and live video, the pre-order of the album launches today and is available via iTunes. The new LP is the band’s third full-length release on the label following 2012’s Holy Weather. The band will play select U.S. dates with a full tour to be announced soon. See below for full details.

Julian Lennon & Timothy White Present British Subjects

Acclaimed photographers Julian Lennon and Timothy White join forces to curate a one-of-a-kind British Rock Photography exhibition called British Subjects. The exhibit will run from April 22nd until April 28th at Morrison Hotel Gallery, at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. British Subjects will feature exciting work from both Lennon and White, and a selection of other works from acclaimed photographers such as Terry O’Neill and Lawrence Watson among others.
