Sam Hunt Goes Gold And Platinum

Country music standout Sam Hunt released his debut album MONTEVALLO in October 2014, when it became the No. 1 and best-selling debut album from a country artist since 2011. MONTEVALLO remains the best-selling country album of 2015 and is now RIAA Gold-certified with sales topping 500,000. Hunt is the fastest debut country artist to earn a Gold album since 2012, and the first debut country artist to reach the benchmark since 2013.

Katy Tiz Debuts “Whistle (While You Work It)” Video

UK singer/songwriter Katy Tiz has released the official video for her latest single, “Whistle (While You Work It).” The single comes off of her upcoming Atlantic Records debut album. Idolator premiered the video yesterday and said of the video, “Katy springs to life from street art. From there, the blond bombshell indulges in a little choreography with her girls, goes for a stroll with a crew of cartoon characters and gets her nails done. It deftly combines the live action and animation elements, and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.”

Vance Joy Tours Globe With “Riptide”

Atlantic recording artist Vance Joy has had a busy week kicking off last Sunday at his show-stealing performance at Indio, CA’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The Melbourne-based singer/songwriter packed the Mojave Tent to overflowing capacity. According to the Los Angeles Daily News, “Australian singer and songwriter Vance Joy, whose hit song ‘Riptide’ has been all over radio, gave the fans exactly what they wanted inside a jam-packed Mojave tent, forcing some to stand outside and watch.”

Fall Out Boy Meets “Uma Thurman”

GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum selling band Fall Out Boy’s music video for their new single “Uma Thurman” is available now on VEVO, providing a glimpse into exactly what being the band’s assistant for the day is like. The video showcases contest-winner Sarah’s 24-hour immersion into FOB-world, which included a wicked game of paintball with Pete, karaoke rehearsals with Patrick, taking Joe’s zebra for a trot, and breaking a sweat doing CrossFit with Andy.
