Bruno Mars Gets Emmy Nomination

BRUNO MARS RECEIVES EMMY NOMINATION!

Multi-Grammy award winning artist Bruno Mars received his first Emmy Award nomination today. Mars’ record breaking Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show was nominated for “Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.” Nominees in the same category include Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis: President Barack Obama, Children’s Hospital, Parks And Rec In Europe, and The Soup: True Detective.

Mars’ 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show shattered previous records by becoming the most watched Super Bowl Halftime Show in all of the telecast’s history with 115.3 million viewers. This figure surpassed the 110.8 million delivered by Beyonce last year and the prior record of 114.0 million set by Madonna two years ago. In the addition to the record breaking views, Mars also made history by being the youngest artist to ever serve as the sole NFL Super Bowl Halftime headliner.

Mars is currently on the second leg of his worldwide Moonshine Jungle tour with two sold out nights at the renowned Madison Square Garden on July 14th and 15th.
