Broken Twin’s “No Darkness” Premiers On NPS

NPR PREMIERES NEW VIDEO FROM ‘FAVORITE NEW ARTIST’ BROKEN TWIN

NPR Music is premiering an affecting new music video by the artist BROKEN TWIN. The dramatic black and white clip directed by Danish artist Sidse Carstens offers singer Majke Voss Romme AKA Broken Twin performing an evocative ritual as visual accompaniment to her heartrending vocals.

NPR’s All Songs Considered recently hailed Broken Twin as a “Favorite New Artist” with host Robin Hilton stating “Her voice just sends me. It’s very vulnerable but very powerful at the same time.” In addition, SPIN named Broken Twin as one the best new artists earlier this year in their Five Best New Artists for May 2014 calling the sound “perfectly, exquisitely devastating.”

Broken Twin’s debut album May is now in stores. The dramatic sound is comprised primarily of piano, strings and Romme’s beautiful and moving vocals.The record was self-produced by Broken Twin and mixed by Ian Caple (Kate Bush, Tindersticks, Tricky) and Brian Batz.
