The British Music Embassy Announces Official SXSW Events “Year after year, the British takeover of Latitude 30 makes it one of best venues of SXSW.” – Austin 360 The British Music at SXSW Partnership is very proud to announce its evening programming at The British Music Embassy during SXSW. The BME is very pleased to welcome back regular hosts Huw Stephens and The NME who’ve programmed shows at the venue for a number of years now. Also returning are BBC Introducing with a showcase hosted by Steve Lamacq and Huw, and Ben Sherman return with a stellar Thursday evening line up. Newcomers this year are tastemakers Blackjack London who have put together a fantastic and eclectic friday night show for us. The venue is co-funded by a range of creative industry entities accross the nations and regions of the UK including AIM, BBC Introducing, Ben Sherman, Cerdd Cymru : Music Wales, Creative Scotland, Generator NI, PRS for Music, PRS Foundation, UK Trade & Investment and Welsh Government. Daytime programming to be announced next week.
