“Top 10 DJs who rule the Earth” – Rolling Stone
As a recording artist and producer, Ridha has created his own sound, and pioneered
his own brand, amassing a formidable body of work in the process. He has been doing profoundly influential work as a remixer and producer for everyone from Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Feist, David Lynch to Jarvis Cocker, Santigold and Nine Inch Nails.
He has previoiusly collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Chilly Gonzales (new project as Octave Minds – free “In Silence” download HERE), genius film maker Mr. Oizo (asHandbraekes), Erol Alkan, K-pop artists G-Dragon and Big Bang, and mixed up the scene as Dog Blood, his project with Skrillex. Recently, he’s been in the studio with Chance The Rapper, and you can hear the result on the Octave Minds album – full stream via Dazed & Confused HERE).
Ridha is also the heart of Boysnoize Records (BNR), the label he started back in 2005. Originally founded to retain his full artistic freedom while releasing his own music underBoys Noize as well as under many different monikers.
BNR became a home for multidirectional quality electronic music incl. albums from highranked artists Spank Rock, SCNTST, Djedjotronic, Siriusmo, EPs from Boody & LE1F, Strip Steve, Peaches and PILO and of course BOYS NOIZE’s debut Oi Oi Oi (2007), POWER (2009) his third album Out of The Black (2012) & recent Go Hard EP.
Maintaining artistic freedom has always been the most important thing to me — for my own music and for anyone on my label” The Berlin-based anarchist collective have just recently celebrated their 100th deafeningly successful release having Chemical Brothers & Justice to remix Boys Noize’s club hit “XTC”.
You never know where to find Boys Noize next. It could be a small sweaty London underground club or on a big festival stage. Known for his versatile DJ-sets and styles he mixes up, the wizzard makes sure to rock your party and never stops to always pushing the next new sound.
