Bobby Bazini, acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter, will be joining talented songstress Lily Kershaw on a 24 date tour spanning across the country. Kicking off September 10 in Santa Barbara, CA, the tour will continue through an October 14 show at Pianos in New York City.

Following the huge success in his home country of Canada, Bazini released his debut U.S. album, Where I Belong, on August 12. Where I Belong, which is Bazini’s sophomore Canadian album, debuted at #1 on the Canadian Albums chart after its May 26 release and remains in the top 10 after eight weeks, including a remarkable 10 weeks as the number 1 album in Quebec.

“I’m so excited to be hitting the road for my first U.S. tour,” said Bazini. “Creating this album has been such an amazing experience for me and I can’t wait to share my new music with my fans.”

Recently, Bazini performed in front of 60,000 people at the 35th Annual Festival International de Jazz de Montréal. In 2010, Bazini’s musical career climbed at a rapid pace with his very first single “I Wonder,” which topped the Québec charts for nine straight weeks at #1 in the very same year, holding off challenges for chart supremacy by teen sensation Justin Bieber and fellow Quebecer Rufus Wainwright. The single was featured on “Better in Time,” the album that launched his career in Canada and secured the attention of contemporary music fans around the globe, in addition to securing him two Juno® Award nominations for “New Artist of the Year” and “Pop Album of the Year in 2011.”
