Blackberry Smoke’s Holding All The Roses Gets Pandora’d
BLACKBERRY SMOKE’S HOLDING ALL THE ROSES BAND ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH UK CRITICS OFFER RAVE REVIEWS Pandora Presents Premieres is running an early and exclusive premiere of the new Blackberry Smoke album, Holding All The Roses starting today through February 9: http://pdora.co/1CVeEN5. The band’s fourth studio album and its first for Rounder will be released on February 10. “I think that this record does a really good job of conveying what we do and what we’re about,” says singer-guitarist-songwriter Charlie Starr. He continues, “”We are so excited for our new album Holding All The Roses to be streamed on Pandora. We hope all the listeners will enjoy it.” Holding All the Roses compellingly captures the energy, attitude and honesty that have already helped to make Blackberry Smoke one of America’s hottest live rock ‘n’ roll outfits, as well as a grass-roots phenomenon with a large and fiercely loyal fan base. The 12-song set—produced by Brendan O’Brien, whose previous production clients have included AC/DC, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young—showcases the Atlanta-based quintet’s emotion-charged mix of bluesy rock, gospel soul, and country. The band’s tour, presented by Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, starts February 6 with two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ legendary Troubadour. Blackberry Smoke’s new partnership with Ole Smoky Moonshine is a perfect fit, as the band’s fondness for moonshine has been well documented (a chapter of their 2012 concert DVD Live at the Georgia Theatre covers this in depth). Charlie Starr reflects, “It’s great to be able to partner with an authentic Company like Ole Smoky Moonshine.” He continues, “It’s important for us to work with genuine brands.” Brit Turner adds, “It’s great to work with another American company that shows such great respect to their employees and customers. Ole Smoky Moonshine has the best product in the legal moonshine game.” For more information, contact Regina Joskow at Rounder Records, rjoskow@rounder.com, 917-532-5687.
