| Benjamin Booker will celebrate the release of his self-titled debut album with his first-ever West Coast headline run. The jaunt will kick off on August 13 at The Media Club in Vancouver, BC. While on the West Coast, he will perform on “Conan” (August 11) and KCRW-Los Angeles’ “Morning Becomes Eclectic” (August 26). He will also do a live session on KEXP-Seattle.
The New Orleans-based artist just wrapped up his first U.K. tour and is currently supporting Courtney Barnett on a series of East Coast dates, including tonight’s show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. Booker will head out with Jack White in mid-July. He will also perform at numerous festivals, including Forecastle, the Newport Folk Festival, Lollapalooza, FYF Fest and ACL.
