Starting today through Sunday, May 4, the network offers unparalleled access to Jazz Fest presented by Shell, with over 24 hours of coverage packed with headlining talent as never seen before. AXS TV’s coverage starts each day at 3pE/12pP with its “Countdown” half-hour pre-show that takes viewers beyond the stage and into the streets. “Countdown to Jazz Fest” hosted by Kristen Aldridge presents an in-depth look at the influential music, food, culture, and nightlife of the world-renowned festival and New Orleans with StubHub returning as the Official Broadcast Partner.
Savannah Buffett hosts a special “Countdown” segment –“Last Night with Savannah Buffett” – that captures the unprecedented sights and sounds of New Orleans. Tune in as Buffett travels the city, sampling local cuisine, attending after-hours events and performances, and conducting exclusive artist interviews. Acclaimed R&B/Soul singer-songwriter Eric Lindell will join Buffett at various stops on her quest, including famed New Orleans hotspot One Eyed Jack’s, and the iconic Margaritaville, which Buffett considers to be a second home.
