Brandon Flowers To Bring The Desired Effect

Brandon Flowers has released a brilliant new video for “Still Want You”, the second song to be revealed from The Killers frontman’s new solo album, The Desired Effect (out May 19th via Island Records). The video for “Still Want You” was directed by Warren Fu, a long-time collaborator with The Killers who’s also worked extensively with the likes of Daft Punk, The Strokes and Haim. The video is up now on Noisey.

Matt Pond’s PA Offers The State Of Gold

Matt Pond PA’s new album The State Of Gold will be released June 30 on the newly relaunched Doghouse Records, the label known for introducing such artists as The Get Up Kids, Hot Water Music and Say Anything. Last week Paste Magazine premiered a lyric video from the album’s lead track “More No More” which features Laura Burhenn of The Mynabirds and Matt Iwanusa of Caveman in the recording. The video is also available to post and share via YouTube. The State Of Gold is available for pre-order now via iTunes. Paul Weller To Launch Into Tomorrow

Published this June 2015: Paul Weller’s INTO TOMORROW offers a pictorial record of his solo years from 1992 onward. Captioned with his handwritten text, Weller has selected over 800 photos taken by friend and photographer, Lawrence Watson. Nearly 300 pages will be published in a leather-bound volume with previously unheard live recordings on an accompanying 10″ vinyl disc.
