Blackalicious’ Imani Vol. 1 Coming

Ten years after 2005’s The Craft, BLACKALICIOUS’ self-release, Imani, Vol. 1 arrives August 14, 2015. Fans can hear “On Fire Tonight” via Rolling Stone and support their Pledge Music campaign, whose proceeds go towards launching the record, here: http://goo.gl/hKVvMZ. Three years in the works, the album stays true to rapper Gift of Gab’s clever tongue-twisting wordplay and DJ/producer Chief Xcel’s unique beats through a mix of production and live instruments. Leikeli47’s Self-Titled Debuts

Following a string of buzzing SXSW performances, the musical wunderkind Leikeli47 (pronounced Leh-Kay-Lee) will release her new eponymous project on April 21 via Hard Cover/RCA Records. Leikeli47 will feature previously released material, brand new tracks and videos. The Milk Carton Kids To Release Monterey

Acclaimed Los Angeles duo The Milk Carton Kids have premiered a new song entitled “Secrets Of The Stars” via the Wall Street Journal. The track is from their forthcoming album Monterey out May 19th. It is The Milk Carton Kids’ third album and the follow-up to their 2013 critically acclaimed Anti- Records breakthrough The Ash & Clay.

Alabama Shakes Release Sound & Color

Sound & Color (ATO Records) – the follow-up to Alabama Shakes’ Gold-certified debut album, Boys & Girls, which earned the group GRAMMY® nominations in three categories, including Best New Artist- is out today. It is available now at all music retailers, including iTunes and Amazon, and via the band’s website and the ATO Records webstore. Alabama Shakes will celebrate the release of Sound & Color with a performance on the outdoor stage of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight. Earlier in the evening, Alabama Shakes will visit Amoeba Hollywood for a limited album signing. The band is currently on the road and has just added a trio of East Coast dates.

Theory Of A Deadman Offer Acoustic “Habits”

Roadrunner/604 recording group Theory Of A Deadman have released an acoustic cover of Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” which is featured on their Angel Acoustic EP. The EP, which is available for pre-order via iTunes today, is a collection of acoustic performances of fan favorite Theory Of A Deadman songs and “Habits (Stay High).” The Angel Acoustic EP officially arrives at all DSPs on April 28th.
