Blackalicious’ Imani Vol. 1 Coming
Ten years after 2005’s The Craft, BLACKALICIOUS’ self-release, Imani, Vol. 1 arrives August 14, 2015. Fans can hear “On Fire Tonight” via Rolling Stone and support their Pledge Music campaign, whose proceeds go towards launching the record, here: http://goo.gl/hKVvMZ. Three years in the works, the album stays true to rapper Gift of Gab’s clever tongue-twisting wordplay and DJ/producer Chief Xcel’s unique beats through a mix of production and live instruments. A tour is expected later this year.

Leikeli47’s Self-Titled Debuts

Alabama Shakes Release Sound & Color
Sound & Color (ATO Records) – the follow-up to Alabama Shakes’ Gold-certified debut album, Boys & Girls, which earned the group GRAMMY® nominations in three categories, including Best New Artist- is out today. It is available now at all music retailers, including iTunes and Amazon, and via the band’s website and the ATO Records webstore. Alabama Shakes will celebrate the release of Sound & Color with a performance on the outdoor stage of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tonight. Earlier in the evening, Alabama Shakes will visit Amoeba Hollywood for a limited album signing. The band is currently on the road and has just added a trio of East Coast dates.
