Def Leppard’s Phil Collen Presents Delta Deep

Phil Collen, lead guitarist of Def Leppard, announces the formation and release of his new blues based music project, DELTA DEEP, coming this summer. Collen recorded the mix of original and hand-picked cover tracks with fellow DELTA DEEP bandmates Debbi Blackwell-Cook (back-up vocalist for such artists as Michael Buble & Luther Vandross), Forrest Robinson (drummer for India.Arie, Joe Sample & The Crusaders, TLC), and Robert DeLeo (bassist for Stone Temple Pilots). Their self-titled debut album will be released on June 23, 2015 on Mailboat Records and also features special guest appearances by Def Leppard vocalists Joe Elliott, Whitesnake’s David Coverdale, Sex Pistols/MANRAZE drummer Paul Cook, and GIRL/MANRAZE bassist, Simon Laffy.

Walk The Moon Visits The Voice With “Shut Up And Dance”

WALK THE MOON’s #1 smash hit “Shut Up and Dance” is certified platinum, currently #2 on iTunes Top Songs Chart and #2 on this week’s Billboard Digital Songs and Digital Tracks Charts. The track has been streamed over 78 million times globally and is #11 on the Spotify US Chart. Not long after its release “Shut Up and Dance” reached #1 at alternative rock radio and has now crossed over into the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The alt pop band’s sophomore album “TALKING IS HARD” has also climbed into the top 20 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. WALK THE MOON will be performing their chart topping hit “Shut Up and Dance” on NBC’s The Voice on May 12th.

Estelle Joins Empire’s Jussie Smollett On “Conqueror”

Grammy Award-winning songstress and international recording artist Estelle will perform alongside Empire recording artists Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, airing live on ABC May 17th at 8PM from The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Empire themed performance will feature a medley of the show’s biggest hits, including Estelle’s own empowering single “Conqueror,” (PRESS HERE – from her current album True Romance) which was made into a duet for the show. The single immediately became the biggest-selling song on iTunes, hitting the Top 3 Overall and No. 1 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Chart, after it was performed by Estelle and Smollett during Estelle’s guest starting role as “Delphine” on the hit FOX show. The song also became a Top 10 hit on the Hot R&B Songs Chart, peaking at No. 8 on the list dated March 21 and helped spur The Empire TV soundtrack to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

Palma Violets’ “English Tongue” Premieres

Palma Violets’s imminent return is marked by the release of their eagerly anticipated sophomore album Danger In The Club on May 5th via Rough Trade. Today the South London four-piece premiered the new music video for “English Tongue” via Rolling Stone. Chris Stapleton Offers “Tennessee Whiskey”

Chris Stapleton’s rendition of the country classic “Tennessee Whiskey” premiered yesterday at The Fader and can now be streamed/shared via VEVO. The recording is from Stapleton’s highly anticipated debut solo album, Traveller, which will be released May 5 on Mercury Records Nashville and is now available for pre-order. Of the album, The Fader proclaims, “…Traveller is easily, and naturally, the year’s strongest country debut…it’s got the best parts of the genre: softness within toughness.”
