Barenaked Ladies’ “Say What You Want” Debuts

Kid Rock Breaks Records And Adds Shows

Due to overwhelming demand, Kid Rock is adding two more shows to his historic run of shows at the DTE Energy Music Theatre. The shows will take place on Friday, August 21st and Saturday, August 22nd, with tickets going on sale May 2nd at 10 am. These shows shatter previous ticket sale records for the state of Michigan, previously held by Garth Brooks (approximately 107,000 tickets, with Kid Rock expected to sell over 145,000) and the record held by his good friend Bob Seger, for most shows played in a row at the venue.

Modstep’s “Machines” Appearing On London Road

Leading up to the release of their new album London Road (Max Records/INgrooves) on May 26, MODESTEP have released their Machines EP featuring two killer remixes of band’s lead single from Mefjus and Tru Fonix, exclusively on Beatport. Perforated with mechanised samples, warped synths and the heavy bass that electronic fusion act MODESTEP– brothers Josh (vocals, keyboards) and Tony Friend (DJ, guitar), Pat Lundy (drums) and Kyle Deek (lead guitar)–have made their own, “Machines” proves that the U.K. band is not content to stay within the fold. By seamlessly melding rock with electro influences MODESTEP have crafted their own sound that defies definition by genre and “Machines” is just a taste of what’s to come from the group this year.
