Chris Stein’s Photos At Somerset House

Blondie co-founder, songwriter, guitarist and photographer Chris Stein continues to be celebrated for his acclaimed photography. For his latest exhibition, Stein’s rare and iconic photos have crossed the pond and are being showcased at the East Wing Gallery in the prestigious Somerset House, a spectacular arts and cultural center in the heart of London. The exhibit opened tonight with a star-studded launch event and will be on display through January 25th, 10am-6pm daily with free admission (East Wing, Somerset House, Strand, London, WC2R 1LA).

Black Veil Brides’ Live DVD Coming 2015

Hot on the heels of their recently released self-titled fourth album Black Veil Brides via Lava/Republic Records, Black Veil Brides have announced the release of the first live DVD of their career. The DVD is slated for release in June 2015 and is taken from the band’s sold-out hometown show in Los Angeles at the Wiltern Theater on November 1st. The show was part of the band’s inaugural Halloweekend event as part of The Black Mass Tour. The DVD was directed by Casey Tebo, known for his work on the acclaimed Aerosmith documentary, Rock For The Rising Sun.

Emmylou Harris Goes To Washington

On Saturday, January 10, an extraordinary collection of music stars will come together for Washington, DC’s concert event of the year, THE LIFE & SONGS OF EMMYLOU HARRIS: AN ALL- STAR CONCERT CELEBRATION to honor one of the most influential musicians of our time. The concert event taping will take place at DAR Constitution Hall, and will feature performances by: Emmylou Harris, Kris Kristofferson, Sheryl Crow, Mary Chapin Carpenter,Mavis Staples, Martina McBride, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Trampled By Turtles, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Rodney Crowell, Iron & Wine, Shawn Colvin, Shovels & Rope, Joan Baez, Sara Watkins and The Milk Carton Kids. Harris will take the stage to perform with a number of special guests throughout the night. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Rihanna Brings Diamond Ball For Clara Lionel Foundation

Today Rihanna announced plans for the first annual Diamond Ball, a black tie fundraising event benefiting The Clara Lionel Foundation. Founded in 2012, the Clara Lionel Foundation works to improve the quality of life for communities globally in the areas of health, education, arts, and culture. Rihanna will perform at the first annual Diamond Ball taking place on December 11th at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills and will announce additional special guests soon.
