Mark Ronson’s Uptown Special Hits Top 5

Mark Ronson’s fourth album, Uptown Special has entered the Top 200 at No. 5 today. The critically-acclaimed album, featuring the global phenomenon “Uptown Funk,” featuring Bruno Mars was released on January 13, 2015 via RCA Records. The album was written and produced with fellow GRAMMY® -winning producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Drake, Alicia Keys), and the majority of the album’s lyrics were written by Pulitzer-winning American novelist Michael Chabon. Uptown Special includes collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt, Mystikal and newcomer Keyone Starr.

Beatles’ Let It Be Comes To US February 18th

The acclaimed Beatles concert LET IT BE will launch a U.S. trek starting Wednesday, February 18. LET IT BE is the only show with grand rights to The Beatles’ music, and it has played to rave reviews and sold-out crowds on London’s West End and on Broadway in New York City. Jam-packed with over 40 of the Beatles’ greatest hits, LET IT BE has already been seen by over 1 million people worldwide. The February trek will mark LET IT BE’s first North American tour after Broadway. Following the U.S. and Canadian run of shows, LET IT BE will return to the U.K. for a series of dates at London’s Garrick Theatre before heading to Ireland in October 2015.

La Dispute Tours For Rooms Of The House

La Dispute have announced a short run of solo, intimate seated shows during their spring US co-headlining tour with Title Fight. The shows will be special events featuring the band playing songs that have never been heard live before, as well as, readings of excerpts from their favorite books, stories, and poems, and a Q&A session conducted by the band with the crowd each night. Au.Ra Brings Jane’s Lament March 3rd

Sydney’s Au.Ra, a duo composed of Tim Jenkins and Tom Crandles, are set to release their debut full length on Los Angeles label, felte. Jane’s Lament, a work which carefully envelops the listener in dreamy hues of sound, will be available on March 3rd of next year. Noisey has premiered a stream of “Talk Show” from Jane’s Lament and said, “Mixed by HTRK’s Nigel Yang, the lead single from their debut album Jane’s Lament has the melodic but droning guitar sound that brings to mind the long-sleeve t-shirted feel of 1992 British shoegaze backed with the bright short-sleeve t-shirted feel of a 2015 Sydney summer.”
